Fun with Festive Fruit – Rustic Scented Christmas Wrapping

Or make them as decorations to add to your Christmas dinner table.
Here’s my easy-peasy step-by-step guide
1. The Ingredients
- Dried red and green apple slices, orange slices and lime slices
- Cinnamon sticks
- String and stub wires
- Hessian ribbon
- Blue pine
- Brown paper packages
2 Tie string around your package leaving a tying point with excess string.
Add some hessian. (Or other natural ribbons, strings, raffia or yarn)
3 and 4 Take a small section of blue pine and tie into the tying points on all your packages
5 and 6 Take a wire bend it in half making a hair pin. Thread the excess sting from the tying point into the wire. Use the wire like a needle. Take a selection of fruit and thread it down the wire and into the string. You can finish the design now if you wish to by tying the fruit in place with a string bow.
7 Or add cinnamon sticks and tie off into a bow. Finishing this lovely decoration.
